Zeev Krieger, CEO

Zeev Krieger is the CEO of Turtle Hill Capital. He brings 20 years of experience in alternative investments, building businesses and managing portfolios across structured credit, sustainable infrastructure, growth equity and impact strategies.

Previously, Zeev was a Partner at Third Sphere, where he launched the firm’s inaugural private credit fund dedicated to supporting the next generation of climate technology companies. Through this vehicle he pioneered a hybrid approach to climate venture capital, integrating asset-based lending with a growth investment platform.

Before that, Zeev managed investments for the Smith Family Circle, transforming a passive family office into an active $200M+ media, entertainment and real estate holding company with institutional backing. Zeev’s earlier experience includes four years in Investment Management at Goldman Sachs, as well as impact-oriented leadership roles as a founder and CEO of Brooklyn Atlantic Real Estate Company - focused on placemaking and adaptive reuse transactions - and as Managing Director of the Gowanus Canal Community Development Corporation non-profit.

Zeev holds an MBA from NYU Stern School of Business and a BA, cum laude, from the University of Pennsylvania. In a feat held by just a select few, Zeev has explored the Gowanus Canal by canoe over a dozen times.

Paul Hamilton, Head of Investments

Paul Hamilton is the Head of Investment at Turtle Hill Capital, leading deal origination, deal structuring and portfolio management. He brings over 20 years of experience originating, structuring and managing complex secured loan portfolios backed by energy assets, receivables and commodity flows.

Previously, Paul was a Senior Vice President at V3 Commodities, where he led the company’s structured credit and commodity supply activities. In this role, he originated and structured a portfolio of first and second lien asset-backed credit facilities and power and natural gas supply agreements with total capital commitments of $100M+. He also led M&A activity, including asset and equity purchases and sales of various retail energy providers.

Before that, Paul spent four years at Vantage Commodities Financial Services, where he originated and structured multiple credit and risk-transfer facilities including accounts receivables securitization facilities, first and second lien and unitranche credit facilities, and reinsurance-backed captive insurance vehicles. Paul’s earlier experience includes eight years at VMAC, where he patented a bespoke credit-mitigation and clearing structure for the North American physical power and natural gas markets that executed over $10B in commodity transactions.

Paul holds a JD, cum laude, from St. John’s University School of Law and a BA from Boston College. He was admitted to the New York State Bar Association in 1999. On weekends, you are almost guaranteed to find Paul on a boat, fishing and/or enjoying the breeze in the Long Island Sound.

Amelia Sadler, Founding Principal

Amelia Sadler, CFA, is the Founding Principal at Turtle Hill Capital, responsible for deal origination, diligence and execution. She brings over seven years of experience in private credit, equity, natural capital and sustainable investment management.

Previously, Amelia was a founding member of Ethic’s Nature Investing platform, where she launched a $50M ecological restoration fund focused on reforestation, agroforestry, and sustainable timber projects in Latin America. Before that, Amelia managed PGIM Real Estate’s $1B sustainable investment portfolio spanning private credit, real asset and venture capital investments. Amelia began her career at PGIM Private Capital, one of the world’s largest private capital providers, deploying $500M+ into and managing a $1.5B portfolio of diversified senior debt, mezzanine and equity investments.

Amelia holds BA and BS degrees, with highest distinction, from UC Berkeley, where she triple-majored in economics, business and Spanish, and was a member of the two-time NCAA championship rowing team. Amelia holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation. Outside of work, Amelia is either at a ceramics studio or in the ocean depending on how good the swell is.

Aakash Kotak, Senior Associate

Aakash Kotak is a Senior Associate at Turtle Hill Capital, supporting deal origination, diligence and execution, as well as the firm’s capital formation strategy. He brings over six years of experience in the private markets, spanning credit, equity, infrastructure and impact strategies.

Previously, Aakash was a Senior Associate at The Builders Fund, a $200M diversified impact private equity fund, where he was responsible for sourcing and evaluating growth-stage investment opportunities and supporting fundraising activities. Before that, Aakash advised on innovative secondary market transactions worth $11.5B over five years with Campbell Lutyens. During his time at Campbell Lutyens, Aakash also co-founded a market-leading impact advisory team that provides fundraising and strategic advice to impact and energy transition fund managers globally.

Aakash holds an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and MPhil and BA degrees from the University of Cambridge. As an avid scuba diver, Aakash has logged over 50 dives, ranging from the Galapagos to Cape Town, where he combines his love for the ocean with photography.
